The countdown to the opening of GAMM’s new premises has begun.
Perhaps, rather than “new”, we should say “old”, because after many years GAMM is expanding and adding to its current site the spaces of what used to be the company’s historic headquarters. Where? Still in Vermezzo (MI), in via Marconi.
We made this strategic investment to further improve GAMM’s production: when it opens, the division of the production lines into dedicated islands will allow us to improve the whole system; for our Customers this will translate into standardised processing times and faster order fulfilment. In addition to the area dedicated to offices, the design area and the sales rooms, the production area will be divided according to the new production logic: 1) warehouse, 2) tube production division, 3) tube welding division. Some production lines will remain in the current premises, but the internal layout of the machines will be substantially changed to improve the efficiency and speed of production.
The opening of the new premises is scheduled for the end of April 2019. The transition will in any case be carried out gradually, especially outside working hours and on non-working days, so as not to affect the timing and deadlines already agreed.
